It has been roughly seven years since I last saw it, and I was too young then to really remember it now. In California, we lived about an hour from the sea. But in Ca. an hour was a really, really long time to drive anywhere. We went maybe once a year. Sad. Now we live in the middle of nowhere (I say nowhere 'cause "Redneckvile" isn't very nice.) and very, very far inland.
It used to not bother me that we never see the ocean, but lately, I have really, really been wanting to go. I've been wanting sand. And sun. Lots of sun. And water. Lots and lots of water.
*Sigh*

A Great Lake is just about the same as the ocean, only the water isn't salty. :)

Wow! Dude! I just did Google Images, there are pictures of people surfing on the Great Lakes! I had no idea the waves were that big...!
