The bright Sword shining, O, what a glorious thing
The blade of the weapon, sharp, in the sun doth glow forth in a wondrous light
The graceful hilt, the deadly blade
The sword bright and shining full of valor and strength
To protect, to defend, to win renown
A merry game a play at sport
A fight a battle against evil and darkness
To fight then to win to win then glory, safety, and peace
The bright Sword shining, O, what a glorious thing.

These pictures were taken in my dear aunt and uncle's back yard. The fair maid with red hair is my aunt, the one with golden, my sister, and the fellow in black is my uncle. The beautiful swords are his.
We had a glorious time.
I love the way your dress shows off that sword! WOW. All the dresses are gorgeous. It looks as if you all had a daring and wonderful time. The prose makes it complete. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The first thing I felt after viewing this post was deep shame.
Because I wanted to steal your swords.
I have since gotten over that urge, and love this post to death. The costumes are fantastic, and it looks like the time had was wondrous. Many thanks for showing!
Aw, Night Writer, thank you for your wonderful comment.
That's okay, I forgive you. I haven't actually ever wanted to *steal* that sword from my uncle but I am quite obsessed with it.
'Twas a lovely time!! I do, however, resent the fact that you seemed to imply that your uncle personifies evil and darkness...
:)

I know, I do feel rather bad about that. I thought of giving some sort of disclaimer:(FYI My uncle does not personify evil and darkness...). But I didn't. Besides, I have that picture of us all standing together and that obviously implies that we are not at war with each-other.
Anyhow, it's not *my* fault if, say, perhaps, my uncle's evil clone DOES uncle personify evil and darkness...
I could give a lot more explanations but that is the best, non-fantasy, idea I came up with.
And another thing, would I have the personification of evil and darkness defending my lovely Aunt?
I can't help it if he happens to show up dressed like Westley and happens to look like the personification of evil and darkness.
I did, however, intend to imply in that one picture, that the White Maiden was Goodness and Light and the Fellow in black was evil and darkness
It wasn't personal, it was a REALLY COOL PICTURE!
Thank you for commenting.
I was teasing, of course. :) He did deliberately stage that one, after all.
